What this section is
The main DYOR pages on this site cover the basics: what the block explorer shows, what the governance portal contains, where to find third-party coverage. That level is enough for most people doing due diligence.
This section goes a level deeper. Each guide walks through a specific verification task using primary sources — the chain itself, the governance portal, or the contracts — rather than any explorer's front-end. The goal is that you can confirm a specific claim without trusting any intermediary, including this site.
These guides assume you are comfortable following step-by-step technical instructions. They do not assume prior blockchain development experience.
The guides
Query a WIN node
Check WIN data — block height, wallet balance, transaction status — directly from a node using the public RPC endpoint. No explorer required.
Verify a timeline claim
Confirm the WIN genesis block date and the date of the first transaction yourself, using the block explorer and the chain data.
Verify an NFT count
Check how many ERC-721 NFT credentials have been minted across the Connect ecosystem, what that number means, and what it does not prove.
Audit a governance vote
Trace a DGF proposal from submission through to result on win.node-governance.io, step by step.
Tools you need
- A web browser — all four guides use publicly accessible URLs, no downloads required for most steps.
- curl or Postman (optional) — for the node query guide, to send RPC calls. Browser-based alternatives are noted where they exist.
- The WIN RPC endpoint:
https://rpc.win.blockfabric.net(Chain ID: 946). Full setup details at support.connectunited.com. - The WIN block explorer: win.elevatescan.com
- Etherscan for ERC-20 and ERC-721 contract data: etherscan.io
- The governance portal: win.node-governance.io
